Abstract
The Malaysian architect, C.S. Lim, (better known as 'Jimmy Lim' to his many admirers) is Malaysian's most internationally recognized practitioner of the profession. His sensitive and skillful interpretations of the Malaysian indigenous building traditions have won him acclaim both at home and abroad. Nevertheless his approach is a highly disciplined one, as much the result of intensive reflection and deliberation, as of intuitive 'tribal memories'.
