Abstract
Eighteen months age, Dr Sumet Jumsai established himself among the world's most exciting architects when he completed the innovative "Robot Building" in Bangkok. Like the new Hong Kong Bank building, it was acclaimed as the first of a new age of "post hi-tech" design. Now Dr Sumet has moved on to even greater things, with the extrordinary design for the new headquarters of The Nation newspaper group. The following interview is the first he has given on this building. The pictures are also the first published on this building. At this stage, a model and one artist's impression are all that exists.
