Abstract
Mention the name Salvador Dali and melted watches draped over the branches of a tree, fetishist representations of lobsters, crutches, ants and telephones and an anachronistically twirled moustache are projected at random on the canvas of our consciousness. For many people the flamboyant figure of Salvador Dali embodies the essence of surrealism.
