Abstract
Officially opened in September 2002, the Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) has taken over the colonial-style monument building at 28 Kennedy Road for its headquarters. The HKDC is a non-profit making organisation founded in the spring of 2001 by the Hong Kong Federation of Designers - a coalition of the Hong Kong Designers Association, the Chartered Sociey of Designers Hong Kong, the Interior Design Association of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association.
