Abstract
It is fitting in a city like Shanghai to stage an art event themed on urban development. This is, after all, the city which built a planning museum equal in scale and visibility next to its opera house. And it is the city which was just awarded the 2010 World Expo, and which continues to attract international attention if only for the rate of change society and the built fabric are undergoing.
