Abstract
ARCASIA, the Architects Regional Council Asia, is a professional body consisting of national institutes of architects in the Asia region. It originated in 1967 when six Asian institutes - India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong - decided to form a regional organisation. HKIA Council Member Tony Tang attended their 20th annual meeting and forum in September 1999 in Seoul, Korea and gives us his account of what went on.
