Abstract
At the inauguration of the World Architecture Awards organized by the World Architecture Magazine held at the Hong Kong Convention Centre on 22 June, the following projects were chosen over 400 entries submitted by architects from 16 countries around the world in different categories by an international architectural jury. The overall winner of the Arup World Architecture Award for the best building in the world was the Finnish Embassy, Berlin by Viivi Arkkitehtuuri. Details of this project were first published in SPACE Vol.18, 2000.
