Abstract
Hyped as the largest and most established biennial tradeshow in Asia, boasting a total of 250 exhibitors and anticipating over 25,000 trade and public visitors, the International Design Forum (IDF) 2000 in Singapore was, in other respects, a little over-rated. However, despite comments such as 'too little traffic' and ' a limited variety of exhibits' from both visitors and exhibitors alike, navigating the exhibition halls provided a glimpse of several thoughtfully designed products.
