Abstract
Everybody has a philosophy of his own; yet not everybody can carry it through. Martin Tam, currently the Project Director of Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd., shares his firm ideas on architecture and his latest concern in environmental friendly design and construction process beneath the starlight up on the attic of the Central Plaza.
Standing atop one of the tallest buildings in Hong Kong, looking down on glimmers of lights and briskness of traffic below, we have what are laid beneath us the hard works of numerous architects which build up into the city we live in. It is with such pride and assertiveness he reminds us that there is life of an architect beyond cramming within the confines of his cubicle and writing heaps of repetitive letters.
