When should designers be heard but not seen

Abstract
The fine art of interior design willingly sublimates itself when the design brief incorporates the visual demands of an art collection/gallery. It's evidence of a mature professional expertise which does not need to flaunt its creative capabilities, nor even to imprint the "stamp" of a given practice. Nevertheless, for both the client and the art-loving public, the message is loud and clear: a skilled professional discipline has been at work.
