Abstract
In this article, Philip Walden, an Associate Solicitor with Baker & McKenzie, considers the recent amendment of the Town Planning Ordinance ("the Ordinance"), which was enacted in response to increasing problems over land use in the New Territories. Of particular concern are problems of pollution, unsightly storage on open land and flooding caused by the filling in of ponds.
