Abstract
Complementing its natural surroundings on one of Hong Kong's most pictureque and unspoiled coastlines, the Outward Bound School's Sir Murray Maclehose Training Base on Double Island (Wong Wan Chau) is used as a temporary home-away-from-home for up to 36 trainees and five instructors at a time for the school's "adult challenge" and "contact" courses. Planning Services International (HK) Ltd'd unique design solution for the school's 500-sq m Base maximises the views and captures the fresh sea breezes, creating what the client call "a simple yet fully functional facility."
