Abstract
When approaching infrastructure projects, it is not enough to make sure that all the boxes on the organisation chart are filled in nor is it enough to go through a checklist of key clauses as if the project were simply an ordinary commercial development on a larger scale.
In this article, Timothy R Steadman, a partner of Baker & McKenzie, Solicitors, considers how the law can be used to protect and enhance investments in BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) infrastructure projects.
