Abstract
If you are the kind of person who hates to throw away momentos, no matter how trivial, Henry Steiner has a kind word. "Almost anything can be collected provided it is man-made and has a certain scarcity value," said the man hailed as one of Hong Kong's most celebrated designers. More than a year ago, Steiner was involved with the publication of the book Postcards of Old Hong Kong. Today, he admits to other subsidiary collections. He's been interested in airline sick bags for about 10 years now and got on to chopstick wrappers some five years ago.
