Abstract
What makes London a design centre of the world? Other than its world-class designers and design institutes, the 'export' of design services plays a big role. In view of this, Hong Kong designers have not only exported their creative services to the world, but some of them have established a reputatuion abroad as well for their outstanding achievements in everything from architecture and furniture design, to animation, motion graphic design and car design. Against this background, how have Hong Kong designers influenced the international design industry? And what is the so-called 'Hong Kong style' their works supposedly embrace?
