Abstract
David Kohn Architects' design for Heterotopia, a zero-carbon at garden at the Thames Gateway, was recently shortlisted for the RIBA London and Arts Council England 'Arts Space of the Future' ideas competition. The London-based firm has proposed a garden of newly planted forests coppiced to provide the fuel to run new arts facilities. This in turn would create a changing network of forest clearings in which to host temporary arts events.
