Abstract
Since the first guest signed the register in 1928, The Peninsula ahs represented the pinnacle of hotel accommodation in Hong Kong. In the spring of 1994, The Peninsula will reach an important turning point in its evolution with the completion of a 33-storey tower and five-level basement extension. The new tower rises from within the site of the existing hotel in an area that was previously the rear podium.
