Abstract
The "intelligent building" has had dramatic growth in Hong Kong, with many buildings today advertised as "intelligent." However, they greatly differ from one another in their facilities and features, to the confusion of developers, buyers, tenants and, for the purpose of this article, the mechanical and electrical engineer.
