Abstract
When change comes, there are always voices raised in opposition, swayed by nostalgia and a yearning for the "good old days". When the owner of the Lee Gardens Hotel announced that it planned to redevelop the years old structure, a number of people expressed this type of regret. But frankly, the outlook of the new Lee Gardens, designed by Dennis Lau & Ng Chun Man Architects & Engineers, is by no means inferior to the former hotel from an architectural point of view.
