Abstract
The boxline column of Cheung Kong Centre (CKC) will transform the Central skyline upon completion. A simple, symmetrical, square plan to be sure, but one that rises 62 storeys, in the immediate vicinity of such notables as Sir Norman Foster's Hongkong & Shanghai Bank Building and I M Pei's Bank of China Tower. Upon its completion, Cheung Kong Centre will take its place among the SAR's enviable clutch of flagship buildings.
