Cathay Pacific City: Follow the scenic road

Abstract
The "organic growth" of Cathay Pacific Airways has paralleled Hong Kong's own growth over the last few decades. The limiting factor was always our beloved yet cramped Kai Tak Airport, which never had the space to accommodate Cathay Pacific's staff requirements. The result was a patchwork quilt of Cathay Pacific offices over Kowloon and Hong Kong, with a total of 19 separate locations. The unifying factor of Check Lap Kok provided the opportunity to unite the entire staff in a single location, and Cathay Pacific City - a unique facility - was devised and built on the aptly named Scenic Road on the new airport island.
