Abstract
A "Hong Kong Cultural Square and Administrative Centre" scheme has recently been drawn up. The idea is to develop the 410,000-sq m expanse of reclaimed land between Central and Wan Chai into an area which will house the Chief Executive residence and a large cultural plaza. It is widely held that the project should only commence after the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong SAR Government. The project will take at least five years to complete.
三名本港人士推出一個名為[香港特區文化廣場行政中心]的構思, 把中環灣仔之間一幅41萬平方米的填海區,發展為一個包含新首長府及大型文化廣場的地帶,預料計劃須待候任行政首長產生後才可開展, 耗時最少五年。
