Abstract
In the eyes of the general public, architects in Hong Kong are usually viewed as agents of large developers. Few of them can visualise architecture as a caring profession. As a matter of fact, seldom do architects have the chance, to present their caring side. But this time the profession has made a difference, writes Vincent Ng, Bernard Lim, and Paul Chu. That opportunity arose at the World Day of Architecture 1999 event last October, which was titled Architecture of Care.
