Abstract
In 1996 MBT joined SKW Construction Chemicals Group to form skw.mbt. The two companies proved to be ideal counterparts, as their geographical and product coverage complimented each other. The merged entity now employs a workforce of some 18,000 in 88 operating companies in 55 countries around the world; further expansion is currently underway with the merger of skw.mbt into the Degussa group. The company has been instrumental in the introduction of new admixture technologies for high performance concrete in Hong Kong, consultant John C.
