Abstract
A few weeks ago, China and Hong Kong played host to a series of lectures by Paolo Soleri. Francis Frick, a pupil of Soleri's and one-time resident of Arcosanti, (Soleri's organic fellowship in Arizona), accompanied Soleri during his tour. Francis is currently lecturing at Shenzhen University and has given us this biographical account and theoretical summary of Soleri's work.
