Abstract
Asia's insatiable appetite for themes is unstoppable. Some media commentators have even gone as far to suggest that Hong Kong is one big theme park. Whether it's leisure or pleasure, shopping or scoffing, those who plan our living and working environments are continually leaping onto the merry-go-round, competing to keep consumers stimulated and entertained. So where is this all heading and where does it leave architects, designers, clients, and endusers?
