Abstract
The 'Country Park Shelter' Design Competition was the second Minor Works Design Competition organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) in 2000. The Competition was joinly organised by the HKIA, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) of the HKSAR, and the Friends of the Country Park. There were eight entries under the 'Professional Category' which was open to all Full member of HKIA and Practice Firms except those Firms that were listed under the ArchSD/AACSB List of Architectural Consultants, and sixty-five entries under the 'Student Category' which was open to all students of architecture of the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
