Abstract
In 2001, the COMPAQ (China) Investment Co Ltd held a competition to find the designers for its headquarters at Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai, with the winning entrant being DPWT Design Ltd. The office tightly follows the "Ring Concept" which spatially reflects the fair and equal nature of the company.
