Abstract
KCRC is committed to providing improved facilities for the disabled passengers using West Rail. It is intented to provide persons with impairments and disabilities with the maximum of independence and integration with other passengers. The facilities and installations that will be provided in the stations are over and above those required by the statutory authorites as set out in the Design Manual for Barrier Free Access, and have been designed in consultation with representatives of the various organsiations serving the disabled. (1) Facilities for the visually impaired (2) Facilities for the aurally impaired (3) Facilities for the physically disabled (4) In case of emergency
