I M Pei has appeared in the pages of hinge on more than one occasion for his remarkable and innovative architectural treatment of establishment museums. Well, here he is again; but this time it is for his treatment of a remarkable and innovative museum, and some argue that it is Pei himself that represents the 'establishment'.
