Abstract
Milan may have a following as a magnet of international fashion, but it is also a mecca for global home décor. The city is bulging with sofas and sideboards, as furniture galleries representing the best of Europe's designers and manufacturers race to air the latest trends. The pressure is on, particularly now with the Salone Internazionale del Mobile (Milan Furniture Fair www.cosmit.it,) out of the way last month and furniture prototypes launched at the show beginning to make their way into production.
