Abstract
Shanghai is a city undergoing massive transformation. Its economic roots had been firmly entrenched in its art deco heyday. That was until the late 1980's when the first of Deng Xiao Ping's economic reforms came into being and Shanghai, once again, became the focal point for construction development in the PRC.
