Abstract
It's own promotional material called it "the world's biggest exhibition of contemporary art", whereas some art critics likened this year's Documenta to a "monster mash", " more like a film festival", or "some horror National Geographic tour of a collapsing world". But there's no doubt that outside of the Venice Biennale, Documenta has become the most talked about international expo for the 'seriously serious' art crowd in modern history.
