Abstract
The cool storage air-conditioning technology is being developed and applied in commercial buildings in China due to its ability in shifting peak load for electrically driven air-conditioning systems. In this paper, a model of economic analysis of the conventional and cool storage air-conditioning systems is presented. A case study is performed to demonstrate the applicability of the model developed. Using this model, the economic analysis of the chilled water storage, ice storage and eutectic salts storage system is carried out. The results of the economic analysis are compared and discussed in detail. The results show that the chilled water storage system is the best scheme in the three cool storage air-conditioning systems.
